
Operational Coordinator-Local Montgomery Hospital
The Operational Coordinator reports to Regional Director and is responsible for completing all assigned tasks for preparation of new hospital contract openings. The Operational Coordinator provides Financial Counseling coverage for Hospital Directors/Supervisors when short-staffed. Serves as a trainer and fill-in Hospital Director/Supervisor when needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Will work with hospital patient financial services staff and perform fact finding duties to identify needed departmental processes for deposits, financial counseling tools, computer system requirements, and other needed logistical information to successfully open financial counseling offices.
- Conduct meetings with hospital clinical and support staff to give an overview of the services provided and how hospital staff and patients benefit.
- Provide training coverage at all new hospital openings.
- Will serve as on-call Financial Counselor for Hospital Directors/Supervisors when coverage issues arise.
- Responsible for learning the daily operations of each hospital contract and will serve as a fill-in supervisor and staff development trainer when needed.
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement suggestions and be a proactive member of implementation team.
- Open to change and transition as company grows in the East Coast Market.
- Assess training needs through interviews with employees and consultation with Supervisors and Hospital Directors.
- Conduct initial interviews and secondary interviews with perspective applicants with the intent to determine employee/organization fit.
