
Client Liaison Supervisor - Boston Medical Center
Position Summary: Primary responsibilities involve managing the day to day supervision and processes of the Receivables Management for Medicaid and Medicare billing in the state of Massachusetts
- Responsibilities:
- Continually access and provide improvement to production and quality.
- Working on improving collection, denials, appeals, and customer service processes.
- Resolving Payer and Customer Service Issues.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting.
- Approving schedules and time off requests.
- Working on employee relations such as hiring and discipline.
- Working closely with insurance companies, vendors, customers, regions, and management to provide excellent service and exceed company goals.
- Education: College degree preferred but not required
- Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and commercial billing requirements Must have working knowledge and proficiency in SDK software application .Medical and insurance terminology (such as procedure codes, diagnoses, and patient liability), and full understanding of hospital/physician billing. Familiarity with SSI and medical billing procedures.
- Experience: 3+ years working in the health care field in medical billing including collections. 3+ years supervisory experience required. Experience in billing hospital Medicaid claims required. Experience in billing hospital Medicare claims preferred.
- Skills/Aptitudes: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, process-oriented, excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, must be able to multitask while remaining flexible.
